My name is Chip Feck and I am the founder and CEO of CribSteward LLC and a member of my local Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) . I started this company because of my passion to help people prepare for disasters and emergencies. I originally developed a service and software that helped home owners create and maintain a personal property inventory. In doing marketing  research I discovered that the preparedness community considered a property inventory as a vital part of preparedness.

The more I learned about preparedness the more I realized how much I didn’t know, how unprepared I was and how great the risks are for my family if I didn’t prepare. That sent me on a several year journey of learning about disaster preparedness and shifting my business focus to helping people to prepare. 

It is very fulfilling to help guide people on this journey knowing that the services and products my company provides will enable people to protect and sustain their families when a disaster strikes.

The business is located in the Richmond Virginia but we are prepared to travel anywhere in the country to guide people on their preparedness journey.
